These Southern Sausage Biscuits are a hearty and delicious breakfast or brunch treat. The flaky biscuits are filled with savory sausage and cheese, making them a satisfying and flavorful meal.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook Sausage: In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat, breaking it into pieces, until it is thoroughly cooked. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Assemble Biscuits: Roll out each biscuit to flatten slightly. Place about a tablespoon of cooked sausage and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese in the center of each biscuit.
  4. Seal Biscuits: Fold the edges of the biscuit around the filling, pinching firmly to seal.
  5. Bake Biscuits: Place the sealed biscuits seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
