A former scaffolder has opened up about his relationship with his transgender fiancée as the pair are set to wed soon.
David and his fiancée Ayla, from Skye, Scotland, met on Instagram in 2022 and they instantly became smitten with each other – moving in together just six months after they first began speaking online.
David, who knew Ayla was transgender before messaging her, revealed her gender identity has never bothered him at all – despite receiving judgement from others – because he has never seen her as anything other than a woman.
Speaking to Truly Love Don’t Judge he said: ‘It was never anything to me, I only ever saw her as a woman and that is that.
‘Did I ever think I would date a trans person? No, because a woman is a woman to me. No one has ever suggested I was gay, not to my face anyway.
‘I’m not attracted to men, I am attracted to women and she is a woman and that’s it. I am a straight guy.’
Glamour model Ayla admitted she sometimes worries that David will wake up and say it is all ‘too much.’
However David is optimistic that he and Ayla will settle down together and have children.

The former scaffolder has quit his job and now joins Ayla making adult content on her Only Fans account.
He said: ‘She used to make solo adult content and now we are doing it together, it gave us more flexibility, more time together, more of a life.
Ayla added: ‘We look good together too so why not?’
The OnlyFans star, who describes herself as a ‘trans Barbie’, recently had a breast enhancement to increase her bust size to a whopping 32JJ.
She revealed she briefly paused on making content until she’d had the operation.
Ayla explained: ‘There is many reasons for getting my boobs bigger, it’s something I was attracted to as a kid, I wanted to be a real life size Barbie and I was so, so excited for that. I’ve always been drawn to the plastic look.
Ayla said that her transition surgery was ‘literally life or death’ for her, but it doesn’t change who she is.
She explained: ‘I began my transition socially when I was 24, then surgically when I was 26. I was performing in drag for a couple of years at that point. This guy who I didn’t know came up to me at the time.
‘He said “You should transition, you’d be so much happier”. The next day I didn’t take the drag off. I remember going out into public with my wig on and that was it.

‘I’m still a good, genuine authentic real person, and I can be as fake on the outside as I want.’
Ayla revealed that she and her partner have received nasty criticism online – and even her own family questioned the relationship.
