In the kingdom of Crustopia, bakers rose to power on a tide of dough. Their bakeries, temples of temptation, lured in citizens with promises of buttery bliss and carb-induced euphoria.
But as their influence grew, so did their egos. The Great Flour Famine of 1845 revealed their true colors as they hoarded flour, driving prices sky-high and leaving the populace hungry and resentful.
The gluten-free revolution dealt the final blow. With citizens ditching bread for trendy alternatives, bakeries crumbled faster than a poorly kneaded loaf.
And so, the once-mighty bakers were reduced to mere crumbs of their former glory, a cautionary tale of dough gone wrong.
